With the global energy structure shifting towards renewable energy and the rapid development of the wind energy industry, the role of sensors in wind power systems is becoming increasingly important. By monitoring key parameters in real-time, sensors can effectively improve wind power generation efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

In wind turbines, sensors are mainly used to monitor parameters such as wind speed, blade angle, temperature, vibration, and rotational speed. These data provide a basis for the control system to keep the fan in optimal operating condition at all times.



In the pitch control system, sensors are used to accurately adjust the blade angle to adapt to different wind speed conditions, improve power generation efficiency, and protect equipment safety. In the yaw system, sensors help the cabin always align with the wind direction, thereby maximizing energy harvesting.

The state monitoring system is a key component in wind power applications. Vibration sensors and temperature sensors can be used to monitor the operating status of core components such as gearboxes and bearings, achieve predictive maintenance, and reduce downtime due to malfunctions.



In offshore wind farms, equipment faces harsh environments such as high humidity and salt spray corrosion, which places higher demands on the reliability of sensors. Therefore, high protection level and corrosion resistance have become key indicators.

In the future, with the development of intelligent technology, sensors will be deeply integrated with AI and data analysis technology to achieve more accurate fault prediction and energy efficiency optimization.
